Itinerary
Today afternoon arrived at Kathgodam; our company driver will pick you up from railway station and visit around Kathgodam. Since the city is a hub of commerce and trade in its district, it got the name 'Kathgodam' meaning 'timber depot'.
Things to Do in Kathgodam & Midway
Gaula River Dam – The Gaula River emerges from the Sattal Lakes in Uttarakhand, it flows through Kathgodam, Haldwani, and Shahi. Must visit place for setting the barrage and dam. There is a park with playing space for children. There is a good parking area with a snacks shop.
Haldwani View Point Amazing place with beautiful view point. This region makes you feel like Heaven. After visit start drive to Ranikhet, before heading towards Ranikhet, on the way many more places passes like
Kainchi Dham AKA Neem Karoli Baba Neeb Karori Baba who is more popularly known as Neem Karoli Baba is revered by thousands of devotees who throng from various parts of the country. It's a holy temple and ashram surrounded by hills and trees and a river flowing besides it.

Rani Lake (Jheel): Rani Jheel is an artificial lake and one of the popular tourist spot in Ranikhet in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. This small lake was initially constructed by the cantonment board of Indian army for the purpose of rainwater harvesting but now primarily used for boating.
Shiv Temple – This Temple was built by Army's efforts and maintained also managed by the Army. Locals and visitors are visiting to offer the worship and to have a divine insight. Temple is a very neat and clean complex and dedicated to the Lord Shiva.
Himalaya View Point – which offers beautiful Himalayan panoramas and blends offbeat adventures with mesmerizing forest views
Sri Someshwar Mahadev Mandir – Someshwar valley consist of small village surrounded by lush greenery and calm environment. The valley lies on the banks of two rivers, kosi and sai and the entire region is considered holy owing to the devotion for Lord Shiva

Sumitranandan Pant Gallery – About Sumitranandan Pant Gallery & Museum One of the major glamour of Kausani town is a museum gallery purely dedicated to the famous literary figure of modern Hindi literature, Sumitranandan Pant. The famous Hindi poet was born in the same Kausani town.
Kausani Tea Estate – The Kausani Tea Estate is idyllically situated on Bageshwar road and is perched at an elevation of 1,800 metres above sea level. It is located at a favourable distance of 5 kms from the main town of Kausani.
Baijnath Temple – temple is actually a temple complex with the idols of Shiva, Ganesh, Parvati, Chandika, Kuber, Surya and Brahma.
Kausani Shawl Factory – Handicrafts of any such region like Kumaon in Himalayas in addition to the involved art, cover the socioeconomic aspect of the rural life. Out of these Himalayan line handicrafts some are very rare and remain on the highest demand.
Rudradhari Falls & Caves – A Rudradhari waterfall is a natural location with lush green paddy fields where water flows over a vertical drop in the course of a river.
